That payment didn’t go through
You have not been charged. The payment failed before it completed, so no money has left your account. If your banking app shows a pending amount, that’s a temporary authorization hold and it will drop off on its own within a few days.
Why this usually happens
- Your bank declined it. By far the most common reason, and it’s rarely about available funds — card issuers often block a first-time charge to a small merchant they don’t recognize. A quick call to the number on the back of your card usually clears it.
- A digit was off in the card number, expiry date, or security code.
- The billing address didn’t match what your bank holds for that card.
- A verification step timed out — some cards open a bank confirmation window that has to be completed before the payment goes through.
What to do
Try again — your cart is still there. A different card often works if the first one was blocked.
If it fails twice, stop and email help@redhenadmin.com. Repeated attempts can make a cautious bank block the card harder. Tell me roughly what time you tried and I’ll check whether anything reached the payment processor, then sort it out with you directly.
If you think you were charged and still landed on this page, email help@redhenadmin.com right away. That shouldn’t happen — and if it did, I’ll refund it the same day.
