Effective 6 August 2026 · Last updated 6 August 2026

Red Hen LLC is a one-person consultancy in Orange County, California. This policy explains what this website collects, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read.

The short version: we collect the minimum needed to answer your enquiry, deliver what you bought, and keep the site working. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not run advertising trackers.

What we collect, and why

When you…We collectWhy
Visit any pageIP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, timestampsSecurity, spam prevention, and understanding which content is useful. Server logs and site statistics.
Send us a message or requestName, email address, and whatever you choose to tell usTo answer you, and to keep a record of the conversation.
Use the QMSR Exposure Score or a similar self-assessmentYour answers, and your email address only if you ask for the detailed reportTo generate and send the report. Your answers stay in your browser until you submit them.
Ask for updates or join a listEmail address, and the fact you opted inTo send what you asked for. Opt-in only, and you can leave at any time.
Buy somethingName, email address, billing address, what you bought, order and download historyTo take payment, deliver the files, provide re-downloads and updates, and meet tax and accounting obligations.
Download a purchased fileIP address and timestamp against your orderTo make download links work and to enforce download limits.

We never see your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are submitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on, or transmitted through, this website.

The AI Use Qualification Triage Tool collects nothing. It is a single HTML file that runs entirely in your browser, with no network calls, no analytics and no storage. Whatever you type into it stays on your machine and is gone when you close the tab — including when you use the free version on this site.

Who else handles your data

These are our processors. Each handles data only to provide its service to us.

WhoWhat they handle
HostGatorWebsite hosting and server logs
Automattic (Jetpack, Akismet, Jetpack CRM)Site statistics, form submissions, spam filtering, contact records
StripePayment processing. Stripe is the controller of the card data it collects
Easy Digital DownloadsStore software running on our own site — order and download records are held here, not sent elsewhere
SMTP2GOSending our email — receipts, replies and notifications. Handles recipient addresses and message content in transit
WPConsentCookie consent banner and preferences

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not otherwise share your information with anyone, and we do not sell it.

Client and assessment data is never passed to regulators, certification bodies, notified bodies or auditors. If you tell us about your quality system — in an enquiry, an assessment, or an engagement — that stays between us.

Cookies and tracking

Details of the cookies this site sets are in our Cookie Policy, and you can change your preferences through the consent banner at any time.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is still no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond, so this site does not respond differently to a Do Not Track signal. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking regardless of whether the signal is sent.

Third-party tracking across other sites. We do not permit third parties to collect information about your online activities over time and across other websites through this site. Pages that embed third-party content — for example an embedded video or a booking widget — may allow that provider to see your visit to the page carrying the embed, in the same way as if you had visited their site directly.

How long we keep things

  • Enquiries and correspondence — for as long as the relationship is live, and then as business records.
  • Assessment submissions — kept only as long as needed to send your report and follow up, and deleted on request.
  • Mailing list — until you unsubscribe.
  • Orders and receipts — retained as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is longer than we would otherwise keep them.
  • Server logs and statistics — short-term, on our hosts’ normal cycles.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@redhenadmin.com and we will deal with it — normally within a few days, and in any event within 45 days.

We will honor those requests wherever we can, whether or not a particular privacy law applies to us. The exceptions are records we are required to keep — chiefly completed orders, which we must retain for tax purposes even after you ask us to remove everything else.

You can unsubscribe from any list using the link in the email, or by replying and asking.

Where your data goes

We are based in California and our processors are primarily in the United States. Products are sold to purchasers in the United States and Canada, and information is processed in the United States.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email hello@redhenadmin.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the “last updated” date at the top. If a change is material — if it alters what we collect, who we share it with, or what we do with it — we will say so prominently on this page for at least 30 days, and where we hold your email address for that purpose, tell you directly.
